Bodywork techniques discussed here include all forms of healing or therapy that involve therapeutic touch, including the application of essential oils.

The discussion that follows incorporates techniques that I have developed over the years, and may be adjusted based upon individual preferance.  The techniques are listed in the order of importance for the general case.

1. Look into the individuals Birth Chart to see if they have any indications related to the 1st chakra.  This includes 7th chakra positions since they need to balance through the 1st chakra.
• Ask your client find a relaxed position laying face down on the table. 
• Stand or sit at the persons feet, and ground your energy by connecting to the Earth through the bottoms of your feet.
• Gently place your hands on your clients feet and mentally focus you attention on their 1st chakra, sending the warmth of your connection to source.
• Once you feel that your client has accepted your offering, you may proceed with either a gentle massage, essential oil application, or both.
• If using oils, pick ones that will strengthen your client based on any 1st chakra indications.
  


2. Next work with any indications related to the 7th chakra.  This includes 1st chakra positions since they need to balance through the 7th chakra.
• Stand at your clients head, maintaining your grounded energy throughout the session.
• Gently place your hands on your clients head and mentally focus you attention on their 7th chakra, sending the warmth of your connection to source.
• Once you feel that your client has accepted your offering, proceed by gently massaging their scalp.
• If 7th chakra indications are present, apply one drop of essential oil to your clients crown chakra.  Maintain a mental focus that will help to support the archetypal indications that are seen in the Birth Chart, or obtained through intuitive guidance.
  


3. Continue the bodywork session.
• At any time that you are working on an area that is supported by a chakra indicated in the clients birth Chart, mentally focus on this area. 
• Pay special attention to your massage techniques, always maintaining a solid grounded connection to your client.
• If using oils, pick ones that will strengthen your client based on the chakra indicated.
